LEADERS IN FOOTBALL AT THE BRIDGE

Over 1,000 figures from world football have gathered at Stamford Bridge today as Chelsea host the Leaders in Football conference for a second year.
The event is an exclusive two-day international business summit which incorporates a series of marketing workshops and an exhibition, and is an international gathering with representatives from Uefa, Fifa and clubs around the world.
Kicking off the event was Sir David Richards, chairman of the Premier League, who spoke briefly before a talk on the future of football began.
Senior sports professionals, with vast experience in football at both federation and club level, are behind Leaders in Football, which is why it is uniquely placed to understand the varying needs of the global game.
Sven Goran Eriksson and Steve McClaren are both at the event which will also hear talks titled Managing the Wealth Gap: Who are the Winners and Losers?, Leadership On and Off the Field and The Changing Role of Management.
Chelsea's performance director Mike Forde and assistant first team coach Bruno Demichelis will also take part in the event, giving a speech on analysing elite performance.
Other speakers include chairman of the Football League, Lord Mawhinney, Uefa technical director Andy Roxburgh, chief executive officer of the World Cup 2018 bid Andy Anson and chief executive officer of the League Managers Association Richard Bevin.
Fulham manager Roy Hodgson will also be in attendance alongside Wolves' Mick McCarthy.
The conference continues tomorrow, when chairman of the Football Association Lord Triesman (pictured at last year's event) begins proceedings with a discussion on the FA as a force for change. Other topics on Thursday will range from business athlete development to the future of football management.
