It hasn't been just another week at work for masseur Pedro Philippou. He returned with the team to the place he spent his childhood to see Chelsea take on the club for which his grandfather worked.
Who better to supply the regular end-of-week round-up?
The best goal I have seen this week…
It has to be Anelka's - for the vision and for making it look easy. Anybody who can make scoring a goal like that look easy has got to be great.
The best save I have seen this week…
Again I'll go with our game and the one Cech made with his feet. He got down quickly for a big man and did well.
The best training…
Seeing how competitive John Terry is. They let in a sloppy goal out in Cyprus in one of the training sessions and he absolutely lost his rag, started kicking the ball all over the place. It is good to see that he kept his competitive edge even in training.
The worst training…
Thursday afternoon and the fact that we got back tired. We had landed from Cyprus early in the morning at about 5am and came into work later and prepared everything.
Funniest moment…
Me getting thrown in the pool in Cyprus by four England internationals, much to the amusement of all the staff and the rest of the players. It was because I was being interviewed by a Cypriot newspaper. I finished the interview very wet! There are photos in it with me mid-air and the four of them laughing behind me.
Best food this week…
My grandmother's. She lives 10 minutes from where we were staying so I went to visit her for an hour and she had some meatballs that she had made on the spot. Mum's cooking is great and Grandmother's is even better.
Best entertainment…
One of our ball boys trying to get up and sing for the players and getting stuck frozen and not being able to say a word. I went up to try to help him sing but I couldn't muster two words out of him. He froze on the chair. He tried to sing 'Sex on Fire' by Kings of Leon, a song that I had actually sung the week before for the boys so I knew the words.
Best thing the players said about Cyprus…
That the crowd was really good. It was what I expected. There was a two-minute lull when Chelsea scored but the stadium was full an hour before the game and they carried on singing and dancing and chanting and it made an impression. The players mentioned it.
APOEL fans v Chelsea
Best chant by the APOEL fans…
I liked it when they did a chant that reverberated around each stand in turn. It would be the west stand then the north stand, the east stand and then the south stand. They were chanting the name of the team and it was moving around the stadium. It was almost like a Mexican wave but in chanting.
The news story that stands out…
The fact that a Cypriot team was playing its first Champions League home game in Nicosia. It was the second Cypriot team to play in the competition because Famagusta had done it last year, but it was the first time a game was played in Nicosia. A few years down the line it is something people will remember.

And a special mention goes to…
The whole of the medical team that were out in Cyprus. As well as having to work with the guys from a medical perspective, we are also asked to sort of keep them entertained, keep their hours filled, so I think the other two masseurs that went out there with myself, Stu and Billy, plus Jason, the Doc and Carl Todd the osteo who was on his first away trip, when you are there for an extra day there and you are asked to do extra work, that is where the special mention should be.
