TEAM NEWS: ASTON VILLA V CHELSEA


Michael Ballack's place is taken by Florent Malouda while Jose Bosingwa, injured for the Liverpool game, returns at right-back in place of Branislav Ivanovic.
Petr Cech is back in goal with the Blues set up to play with a diamond midfield with Deco at the front of it. Joe Cole is on the bench.
Aston Villa are unchanged both on the pitch and on the bench. That means Gabriel Agbonlahor and Jon Carew are paired in a two-man attack with Emile Heskey on the bench.
Chelsea will line up in a 4-diamond-2 formation as follows:
